Coaching Philosophy

Our goal is to provide an atmosphere that promotes respect, learning, teamwork, in turn creating a lifelong love for the game. We expect players to push themselves to improve by putting forth maximum effort in all practices and games as well as being open to feedback.

The core of our philosophy is for the players to respect themselves and others (coaches, teammates, competition and officials) while taking responsibility for their own actions. As coaches we enjoy becoming part of the players' lives and to inspire them on and off the field to achieve their goals as players and individuals.

Best Coaching Memory

A couple of years ago we were in the championship game for Kent Cornucopia Cup playing against a team we had developed a rivalry with. Our team was down by 4 goals with 5 minutes left in the game making it seem like first place was out of reach. All of the sudden our players got really fired up after scoring a goal that they ended up scoring 4 more to win the game and championship. It was amazing to watch the team come together and work hard to make such an impressive come back.
